Ten years ago, we designed the Beso light meaning ‘kiss’ in Spanish.  The design has evolved into the new Besote light. Two fluid lines exist separately, while occupying the same intimate space. When they effortlessly link together, they create the Besote suspension light. As the name suggests, Besote (‘big kiss’) includes an extra-large option at 2m in diameter. Besote is the highlight of the Cruickshank Design Studio collection; the innovative design technique boasts a sustainable use of resources with minimal waste.

In addition to the sustainable approach to manufacture, each light is seen as a collaboration with the buyer.  Details such as finish, texture and the latest luminaire possibilities are customisable ensuring each light works with the buyer’s vision of the space they are creating. Specific finishes can be requested, as well as additional electronic features such as colour temperature control or the inclusion of an RGB controller. This allows the user the ability to manipulate the infinite colour displays via a smartphone or tablet. Besote is available in two sizes (1.1m diameter and 2m diameter) and standard LED options include 3000k/4000k dimmable LED.
