CGW table was proposed to an open minded client who was thankfully willing to try something different. The form is raised from layers of folded wenge veneer that are pressed in a two part mould. As a timber structure alone it would be compromised. By introducing carbon fibre between the wenge layers the structure becomes immensely strong.
