Sloping wall, composed of evenly spaced round metal poles and seating facing the sport field. The evenly spaced metal walls are evenly spaced to allow large amounts of light to pass through and create a shaded place for seating. This will give the whole arrangement a light feel and cast dynamic shadows throughout the day.

Projecting off the wall are the seating areas, subtly formed at 450mm Height. Corian will be used for the seating as its thermal conductivity is extremely low, providing comfortable seating in all weather. The vertical walls provide added comfort, acting as a back rest.

Our concept draws inspiration from the natural surroundings of the City ofKarratha, located in the rugged Pilbara, a 2.5 billion year old landscape. Our preliminary concept attempts to recreate the magnificent landscape seen in the Karijini NationalPark.
