The arrangement is composed of a sloping wall of evenly spaced round metal tube, giving the whole arrangement a light feel and casting dynamic shadows throughout the day. The evenly spaced walls allow large amounts of light to pass through and create shaded places for seating during the heat of the day.

Inspiration for the artwork comes from the nearby Lakes and wetlands of Bibra, North andSouth Lake. The many reeds and grasses provide particular reference, their uniform and layered appearance is emulated in our artwork.

Projecting off the wall are the seating areas, subtly formed at a comfortable 450mm Height, providing a nice place to rest or enjoy a coffee with friends. The vertical walls also provide added comfort, acting as a back rest and hand rail for the elderly.

Corian will be used for the seating, its thermal conductivity is extremely low, providing comfortable seating in all weather. The Corian will be enhanced with pattern work designed by our team, the pattern work draws inspiration from the textures of the nearby lakes. The structure also provides bicycle rack’s, encouraging cycling which has long been known for promoting healthy exercise and reducing impact on the environment

The artwork is lit with three high quality in-ground LED’s. Lighting will enhance and add to the overall experience of the artwork enveloping the structure in light.
